SCHEDULE OF EVENTS FOR MAY 2010

May 1 & 2 - Food Bank Weekend - Parishioners are asked to bring in
non-perishables for the local food bank. Some suggestions are:
peanut butter, pudding, jell-O, pasta, spaghetti sauce, jelly,
tuna fish, boxed mashed potatoes, canned tomato and vegetable soup,
canned fruit, hash, baked beans, muffin mix, macaroni and cheese, cereal.
Always remember to check the expiration date on all canned and
boxed items that are donated. No dented cans please.

May 4 - Rosary Society Meeting following 9:00am Mass and
recitation of the Rosary in Church. There will be a
presentation by Heather Rayne Alpacas of Bainbridge.

May 6 - National Day of Prayer

May 8 - Sacrament of First Holy Communion at the 10:00am Mass

May 9- Breakfast Hosted by the Knights of Columbus
After the 8:30 am Mass next Sunday, May 9, the
Knights of Columbus will be serving the Annual
Mother's Day Breakfast in the Parish Center. All
parishioners are invited to come for breakfast and
celebrate Mother's Day!

Children's Liturgy & Parish Coffee Next Sunday, May 9,
during the 10:30 am Mass there will be a Children's
Liturgy. After Mass, the Knights of Columbus will
host a Parish Coffee in the Parish Center. Everyone
is invited to attend.

Crowning of The Blessed Virgin Mary
The May Crowning of Mary will also take place during
the 10:30 am Mass next Sunday. The children participating
in the May Crowning need to be at Church at 10:15 am.

May 11 - Knights of Columbus Prayer Rally in Albany

May 13 - Ascension Thursday-A Holy Day of Obligation
Masses at 9:00am and at 5:30pm

May 14-16 - Women's Retreat at the Dominican Retreat and
Conference Center in Niskayuna, NY.

at 6:00pm. Candidates must arrive at 5:30pm.

May 19 - Parish Council, 7:00, Parish Center

May 24 - Refresher Course for all Lay Eucharistic Ministers
in the Parish Center at 7:00pm

May 26-May 29 - The Parish Center will be closed for Cleaning.

May 31 - Parish Offices closed for Memorial Day Holiday.
